Our relationship with our emotion and ourselves

Good morning everyone.

Did you realize the approach you use to regulate your emotion? For example, some people use a hard-on approach, they suppress their emotions either by numbing or by forcing themselves not to think about it, chances are, through this method, they develop unhealthy coping styles that make it hard to regulate the emotion.

Some decided to force themselves not to think about certain things or certain emotions, the more they do that, the more they think about it. It is a paradox.

So, what kind of method or coping strategies you use when you are feeling anxious, upset,
or stress?
